From May 20, 2011 F Galerija (Aušros g. 6, Kaunas, Lithuania) is exhibiting works of Lydia PANAS, finalist of KAUNAS PHOTO STAR 2010 portfolio competition. The exhibition consists of works from series "The Mark of Abel" and "Falling from Grace". This ensemble of works is a rare proof that artists are still interested in topics that go beyond the surface and want to explore the existential aspects of the human nature in the contemporary world. |

KAUNAS PHOTO STAR portfolio competition in 2011 again is calling photographers from all over the world. Photographers regardless of their age and nationality are welcomed to submit fresh photography regardless of themes and styles for portfolio competition.
E-mail submissions deadline - June 10, 2011. Sixty finalists meet in Kaunas for portfolio reviews with 20 internationally renowed experts, curators, gallerists, publishers, representatives of festivals, museums from Baltic, Nordic and Central European Countries on August 25 and 26, 2011.
The KAUNAS PHOTO STAR winner will be invited to hold a personal exhibition at the prestigious KAUNAS PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY during KAUNAS PHOTO festival in 2012.

On Wednesday, April 20, 2011, 5.00 PM 17.00 F Galerija (Aušros g. 6, Kaunas, Lithuania) welcomes to the opening of exhibition by a recipient of a Special Mention of KAUNAS PHOTO STAR 2010 portfolio review competition, Roman DRITS (Latvia-Germany). The exhibition presents Roman DRITS' work "Auftakt", presented at the competition and a part of a new body of work, "Web Cam Portraits". Roman DRITS will be present at the opening. F Galerija is open daily from 9.00 to 19.00. Roman DRITS' exhibition will be on display until May 24. |
