On Sep 8, 2010 (Wednesday) at 16.30 K.Donelaičio srt. 60 Art space welcomes the opening of exhibition of works by Darius KUZMICKAS "Camera obscura _Savanoriai".

7th festival KAUNAS PHOTO proudly presents a project realised in collaboration with US based photographer Darius KUZMICKAS. The fruits of the project are now for the audience to see: a set of large scale images of Kaunas Savanoriai street, shot by the method of camera obscura, where outside views are projected in interiors of living rooms, offices, hotel rooms, school class rooms, production facilities, staircases. It is a combination of inner and outer worlds, memories of photographer's native city and today's reality.

KAUNAS PHOTO STAR - additonal call for Baltic photographers

Due to relatively small amount of finalists of KAUNAS PHOTO STAR competition from Baltic Countries, additional 10 places at KAUNAS PHOTO STAR portfolio reviews are given out to photographers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Photographers from these three countries are invited to sumbit works until August 8, 2010.
