B. Carruthers sukurti moterų portretai – tai 17 a. rašytiniuose šaltiniuose minimų Anglijos raganų XXI a. bendrapavardės, užfiksuotos autentiškose raganų medžioklės vietose. Tačiau net ir dabar, po kelių šimtmečių, stebina šiuolaikinių moterų panašumas su iki galo neištirtomis miškų ir gilių liūnų vietovėmis, jų mistika ir neatskleidžiamomis paslaptimis.

The portraits made by B. Carruthers are of women who have the same name as those accused in 17 th century England of witchcraft. Stated in the landscapes of areas where the witch’s confessions took place, they still radiate the mystique of unrevealed secret.
