Most of us remember a book, published before half a century and called „25 lessons on photography“. It was a thick book and there were lots of lessons. It recalled long and difficult way toward the photoarmateur.

Today photo festival „Kaunas Photo“ invites to nine photography exhibitions-lessons, which will present variuos suggestions how to create contemporary photography and how to evade today‘s resctritions, bans, seemingly limiting freedom of photographs. 

Bans to photograph in private spaces, reluctante of people to be a spontanios models really limit traditional photography, but do not limit real creativeness.

Nine lessons on photography, given by forty photographers of all over the world, should inspire creators and fans of photography for new look, and spectators – for optimism that photography is still alive.

Lessons will be added by talks of authors during the time of openings on September 2, 3, 4.
