“People from Polesia” is a part of Nolens volens photo-blog. It is a long term project made every – day, about the people from Polesia. Age structure of inhabitants of Polesia slightly differs from the average; there is a higher rate of people in pre-productive (27.8%; in the country: 26.3%) and after-productive age (15.4%; in the country: 14.2 %.)
Among the main features of Polesia voivodeship there are: slightly diversified relief, lower than the average quality of agricultural production space, average level of forestation and indifferently enlarged hydrographical network. The voivodeship has many advantages. One of the most important is its ability to link together sub regions of a different economic, agricultural, tourism and cultural character.
About Grzegorz Dąbrowski (1970)
Finished The Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. Works as a photographer, also teaches photography in Youth Cultural Centre in Bialystok and is an editor in chief of daily newspaper “Gazeta Wyborcza”. His works were represented in Russian, Poland, German, France, Belarus.
