It is a pleasure for me to welcome you from many countries of the world to the old City on the rivers of Nemunas and Neris. We very much appreciate your attention that you pay for the people of the City of Kaunas. I am sure that you will find many interesting objects here and take many pictures of Kaunas, thus also helping the people of Kaunas to look at our old city though different eyes.

 

I would like to express my greetings for the organizers and authors of the first festival of "Kaunas Photo Days". Wishing all of you the greatest success, I have no doubts that Kaunas City will soon become the capital of Lithuanian photo art.
