The organizer of KAUNAS PHOTO DAYS, Non-Profit organization "ŠVIESOS RAŠTAS" has been founded to promote the creative, documentary and educational value of photography. Photographer and art critic Mindaugas Kavaliauskas is the founder and leader of the institution.

Non-Profit organization "ŠVIESOS RAŠTAS" has proved its organizational competence in administrating the programs of an international higher education establishment CIVIC EDUCATION PROJECT in the Baltic States.

 

KAUNAS PHOTO DAYS is the first international large - scale project in photography, which is carried out in close partnership with the Kaunas Branch of the Union of the Lithuanian Art Photographers (president Aleksandras Macijauskas) and other honorable institutions.
