“Age of innocence – wonderful time. Childhood is often called like this. I remember my childhood – careless, spontaneous, happy, full of games, but also full of curiosity, desire to know everything about the world.
There are such families which take away the careless childhood from there children, force them to work, involves into political games. In my photographs I wanted to show beautiful childhood, full of parents’ attention, playful, curious. This theme I have chosen by accident. When I was photographing children, I did not think that I would do this cycle. All these photographs I have selected from other parallel project. It accidentally happened that all the children in my works are happy and cheerful. Although they also have problems, they also can be sad or nostalgic. That is why I did this cycle abut them.”
